About the Role


Oversees the entire development lifecycle for multiple residential projects — from site acquisition and project conception through construction completion and lease-up — in San Diego.


Salary: $104,000 – $130,000/year


Key Responsibilities


Development & Feasibility

  • Identify and evaluate potential projects through due diligence, environmental studies, and financial analysis
  • Coordinate with capital markets teams on underwriting standards

  • Planning & Entitlements

  • Lead consultant teams through the approval process
  • Manage community outreach and oversee design development

  • Design & Construction

  • Manage design and construction teams to ensure financially viable, timely, cost-efficient projects
  • Track milestones, budgets, and deliverables

  • Financial Management

  • Create and maintain project pro formas, secure financing, and manage budgets

  • Requirements


  • 3–5 years in real estate development (affordable/multifamily housing)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with complex urban and transit-oriented projects
  • Low-income housing tax credit knowledge
  • Pro forma development skills
  • MS Office proficiency

  • Preferred Qualifications


  • MBA or equivalent in business, real estate, architecture, planning, or finance
  • Southern California real estate market knowledge
